Electricity

The current is in 220 volts; the voltage regulators are essential for electrical appliances because of the strong variations.

Heating/air conditioning

If air conditioning is not necessary in Tananarive, electric and wood-fired heatings are used there from May to October.

In Tamatave and Diego-Suarez, air conditioning is recommended from November to April.

Furniture, dishes

Imported from China, the dishes are available on low cost; however, it is expensive if it is imported from Europe. We can make furniture, in pine or in rosewood, but with a delay of three to four months, or to purchase very cheap bamboo furniture.
